You also earn more skill points for battling Cogs on the upper floors of their buildings. But, you won't earn any skill points if the Gag you use is a higher level than the Cog you're battling. When you're in a group, make sure two people have a Toon-Up Gag. Make sure not to use Sound Gags though! Sound Gags hit every Cog so they'll wake up the Lured Cogs and that's no fun. They wake up eventually, but if one player keeps using Lure you won't have as many un-funny Cogs putting a frown on your Laff-ometer. 
To really clobber Cogs, team up with some friends and combine your gags! Have one player set a Trap, then Lure a Cog onto it for heavy damage and to keep them from attacking for a few turns. Next time, have someone else be "It" and just watch, that way everybody gets a turn at getting lots of Jellybeans. ToonTag - Have the player who is "It" just stand and watch while everybody else collects piles of ice cream cones for tons of points.
